Was being a bit odd after updating it. Not restarting properly, no bios screen. I then powered it down using the power button, and nothing since.

When I switch off from the mains, then switch on, the lights on the mobo and cooler flash for a millisecond but do nothing. Then my RGB ram lights up, but still completely dead when I switch on. Only if I switch off and on from the mains do I get that brief flash of light. Also, when I switch on for the first time, the psu makes a loud clicking noise. I've cleared CMOS using battery method and jumper, but still no luck.

Leave the battery out for 10 mins or longer. Few of us on the (unofficial) OcUK discord were having the same issue.

My EVGA PSU clicks every time I turn my PC on or off. It'll be a relay.
A loud audible click? I’d not be having that. Never heard a healthy psu click in my life. Not saying there’s anything actually wrong with yours but I’d not be happy with that at all. I could be wrong but I’d be surprised to find a relay large enough to be audible inside a psu.

My cheap Taichi has been despatched

I cancelled mine. Was umming and ahhing for ages so I ended up flipping a coin :p At best I save myself £250 to spend on something else, at worst I can simply spend £200 on a 3600 which will actually most of what I need to do. I will do a proper upgrade when the next AMD chips come out unless I see a nice deal.

The chipset fans/temps kind of threw me off a bit which is what made start re-thinking if I wanted to keep it.
