I’m sure they’ll slap on a tidy sum for the privilege.

All me pretty graphics and colours have gone and I'm looking at just black and white script.
Works ok does what it should but it looks 'orrible, I want my old appearance/layout back

Maybe Pro Carbon already have bigger ROM just they didnt made seperate proper Click BIOS 5 update, and used beta GSE Lite version just to release it quicker.
If any body knows this to be the case let me know.
Though I'm sure I read they all have 16mb

Hope that helps.. It gives all the info your could ever want
EDIT - it seems ALL MSI boards below the x570's have the smaller BIOS chip
New BIOS version 7B85v18 for the B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC released on official support page. Not sure if it's identical to the one from their FTP server. If anyone else is having trouble with a B450 pro carbon and 3700x then the latest bios worked for me. The one currently on the MSI main page just gave a CPU led error, but it booted first time after flashing with the following.

Still going to be dependent on whether the retailer/etailer you're buying from gives you the new stock or old stock from before.People are reporting that the B450 tomahawk is now being shipped with Ryzen 3000 support out of the box, saw it on Reddit.
Only if they're purchasing a Max board. If they've purchased a regular B450 board then it's tough ****.Maybe; but anyone should just send it back if they don't receive a MAX board. These boards are not just like another revision, where the only sign the board is the latest revision, is printed on the board itself. They are named 'MAX' on the box. If the retailer sends anything else; you haven't received what was ordered. Would suck though, having to wait to return and receive the correct board.
