Yeah, but Leclerc was warned. Then he took an advantage going off track. Then he made multiple moves in the braking zone.
He lost time going off track, and he never made multiple moves in the braking zone. You can't just make things up.
His own engineer came on the radio to tell him to stop doing it. Was he making it up?
No but the team were likely warned and to tell him.

No, he didn't; he lost time from his mistake. Going off track allowed him to minimise both the the time lost from that mistake and the chances of Hamilton to capitalise on it.

Also if that other poster actually watched the race (they would have for one caught that radio message) it was clear Leclerc was moving all over the place. In places he was trying to break the tow and then after cutting the chicane he was blocking Hamilton on one side and then the other going into the next corner.
Probably to tell them that Leclec had now had the maximum latitude the stewards could extend him, and any more shenanigans was going to result in penalties.
They were warned before the race. The other drivers probably didn't need any more telling off, because they were not taking the mickey like Ferrari, and would not have expected to get away with such lax stewarding decisions.

Let's face it. Politics won this race. There was no way they were going to hand Leclerc a penalty on Ferrari's home track. 5 wins for Merc at Monza, they had to break it somehow.

Do you really want to see races and podiums and positions and points decided by heavy handed stewards decisions, the inevitable appeals and actual race results potentially being decided weeks after the race? Not me.
The teams, the drivers and Liberty want more on track action with more lenient decisions that promote and allow hard racing on track. I, for one, am happy they’re less strict because it makes for better racing, better races and better TV.

Let's face it. Most here would prefer harsh stewards decisions, and podiums being decided days after the race, aslong as their man won.

Yes, but would it not be wise to communicate this to all drivers and teams involved so that they can all race. There is no denying that the sudden application of leniency for a Ferrari driver in Italy seems very suspect, these types of policy decisions should be made at the start of the season and applied consistently throughout otherwise it is simply a joke, constantly moving goal posts springs to mind.
Let's also not forget the qualifying tyre / circuit boundary leniency that was also applied.

I'm sure Hamilton faced similar criticism at Monza early in his career for what other drivers considered to be dangerous driving.
Until someone gets pushed off onto a massive accident or blocked hard and a car goes up a back wheel and flying through the air. Someone will get hurt or killed, and then it will back to the same old cry about how the stewards should enforce the rules to prevent people getting hurt.
Either you have "rules of engagement" that are enforced, or you don't bother and let the drivers smash each other into the barriers, and cut across the chicanes, which is what always happens sooner or later when the drivers think they can get away with it.
