Why cant manufacturers stop chasing stupid power figures and start lowering there crap cars weight.
Look at the M3, around 1700 kilos ffs... focus st? about 1500 plus - the civic type R? over 1400 kilos

F80 M3 is between 1550kgs and 1640kgs depending where you read and what spec it is ( I am guessing manual pov spec lightest and the highest weight is everything including the carbon roof gone and sunroof in - so an 'average' DCT one is in theory around 1600kgs), so not quite as bad.

A little bird tells me there is going to be a 400BHP "Atom 4R" next year with a sequential gearbox. Might be a tad "brisk".
