AMD Wattman isn't reporting a fan speed % for me. This is happening on 19.5.2, 19.7.5 and 19.9.2. On top of that every fan curve just seems to be ignore. Occasionally the fans will just spin up to
100% and slowly come back down, even when idle.

Anyone have any ideas?

Are using any third party app to monitor the same like Afterburner?

The only monitoring app I've got installed is HWINFO, but that isn't running most of the time when these Wattman bugs occur

I wouldn't trust anything Wattman monitors at the moment, Apparently my 5700xt's core often clocks beyond 2500mhz with the highest I noticed being 26??

Open the Radeon control panel, choose "preferences" from the bottom, then "report issues online".

Just an update.. it's all my fault. One of my power connectors had jammed a fan, giving it a 0% reading

You wouldnt happen to have VSR enabled by chance? cause that will ff up my core readings as well on my vega 64. With it i've seen core speed of over 2600

Hi, There's no point in me having it on as I'm running 3440x1440 as it is, I've only gpu scaling on at the moment,

I just came out of Civ 6 and apparently my core went over 2900mhz, Beat that Nvidia

alright, ive never seen that bug without the use of VSR.

Anyone running 19.9.2 on Win 7 64 bit using a Vega 56?

Was running 19.4.3 quite happily, but stupidly decided that an upgrade was due.

Uninstalled 19.4.3 and ran a clean install of 19.9.2.

All installed without any error indications. Windows boots to the select user screen and after selecting my user profile appears to be loading only to freeze with either a solid green or blue screen. 100% reproducible.

Going back to 19.4.3 later.

Have you tried disconnecting the monitor and reconnect again while system is running? I used to have something similar with my RX480, disconnecting from GPU end and back again seemed to fix it.

I hadn’t. Will give it a try. Currently using an HDMI cable after my Display Port > DVI adaptor died earlier this year.

So, that didn’t work and I got an Error 99 “unsigned driver” trying to reinstall 19.4.3.

Why can’t I learn to not fix working things.

Yes mine only records at 3440 and higher at 30FPS, not sure why.

Must be a local system issue if you can capture 4K60 using ReLive/Navi.

Engineering reproduced this issue and a ticket has bee filed.
