Can I fit a GTX 980/Ti into a mobo currently fitted with a GTX 770?

Ah, that's great, thank you.

I'll likely have to move a SATA cable to another port on the mobo to give clearance for the gfx card. I'm guessing that's not a problem?

The white SATA ports in line with the top graphics card slot are SATA III but the blue SATA ports lower down are SATA II. Not only are the SATA II ports slower but they use a different SATA controller. So if you move the boot drive to a different controller, the drivers may not be loaded which would cause Windows not to boot if it doesn't detect the controller.

There should be enough clearance to fully populate those SATA III ports with a graphics card on top. If not, it would be better to fit the graphics card into the second PCIe x16 slot and leave the SATA connections where they are.
