I think that motherboard requires a BIOS update to support Ryzen 3000 series... I'm guessing this is for gaming?

Yes will be a gaming pc, been looking at 1440p monitors to go with it.

You'd have to use an older Gen CPU then flash the BIOS... I'm not 100% sure if AMD still do the boot kit which allows you to flash the bios then return the boot kit to AMD

Some retailers ship that board Ryzen 3000 ready now, some have older stock with old bios. Try asking overclockers if theirs carry the ryzen 3000 orange sticker yet.

The MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX is a better board. The Asus B450 TUF boards are not that great.

The Gigabyte 5700XT is a bit cheaper. The Red Devil is a good card though.

Read good things on here about the Ram
The board WILL run a 3600 out of the box, Curious to know why you want to fit a Micro ATX board in an ATX case.
