Hello!

I left my computer on overnight and came back to find a CRC error reported. I now cannot access the drive from Windows (running 10), and I can't access it from a USB cradle.

The drive is spinning and when in the cradle appears intermittently. I can't currently see it anywhere.

I can't see the drive in Disk Manager.

I've tried running "RecoverIt" and "EaseUS" but neither of these can see it either. Irrespective of whether the drive is plugged into the computer or if the drive is in the cradle.

Would be super grateful for any advice. If it helps - happy to install Linux or other tools if needed.

Thanks!

Thanks for the advice.

In the end, I booted off a Linux USB and had a go. No luck. Oddly the drive reappeared in Windows and I'm ROBOCOPYing the lot onto the new drive!

Hopefully it'll be done by the morning!

Thanks again!
