Help Identifying a very old TV show

It was a show which was sort of like Logan’s Run in the 70’s or 80’s. A family would move from zone to zone having a different adventure each week, they were possibly from earth and this was an alien world. I remember one particular episode where the kids performed a Beatles song at a school talent competition and went on to become famous, before they had to move on again.

Does anyone else remember this?
