the second game was a real let down after the invasion happens after lvl 30, soon as that happened all my gear was useless and the enemy types are so hard to kill it isnt funny i've got around 160hrs invested in the second one but don't really play it anymore, like others have said i wished they expanded the fisrt game, i loved it to bits and invested over 1500hrs in it, got everything i could, classified sets pretty much every exotic in the game and have a stupidly op'd sheild build.

Played another hour or so tonight. First impressions are it's easy to pick up and play, looks good, and is quite polished. If I get 160hrs out of it I will be more than happy. For all the grief that ubisoft get they actually make some decent games.

I've managed to put in about 4 hours total over the weekend and I've enjoyed myself.

Honestly, given the price I paid I'll be content if all I get out of it is 15-20 hours, but I'm confident I'll get a lot more out of it.

dont get me wrong upto lvl 30 in the second game it's practically like the fisrt game, really fun and enjoyable and quite a bit to do, after lvl 30 it all goes to pot, the dificulty level goes up to the point you need to play as co-op at a minimum, ideally as a team of 4. The AI mechanics after lvl 30 are brutal and its not fun playing solo

opinions vary. I picked up the game again a couple of weeks ago after hardcore beta was introduced and have had a lot of fun in hardcore. Died and had to restart i don't know how many times to silly things  but am enjoying playing, and i usually play solo. Finally made it to world tier 2 :) and enemies are sneaky, and not just after level 30 :p

Keep an eye on the mini map, fight in places with a good way out, and if surrounded run to where the enemies aren't coming from :)

I completed The Division 1 and got gifted this and it's brilliant.

I spent a while tweaking graphical settings and landed on pretty much everything on high with 85% resolution with 10 sharpening (I don't notice much difference at all from 100 resolution with 7 sharpening except for the FPS gain), particles at ultra, object detail at 60 (haven't seen pop ins tbh) and aa on medium with dx12, and I get 80+ FPS and the GPU isn't constantly at maximum usage, so I'm happy with those settings, whereas before I kept everything the same as above but resolution was at 100% with 7 sharpening, particles on high and object detail was at 100 but I was getting situations where the game was going below 60 FPS.

It's interesting that the ultra preset recommends 60 object detail instead of 100 though.

Currently favouring a sniper rifle with a dmr and the magnum ATM. The first game I was using an assault rifle with a sub machine gun and the rhino, so we'll see if I end up going back to something similar.

I normally use a sniper but remove any scope that zooms. They've changed things in D2 so that, with a scope, you need to rescope and rezoom after each shot which isn't fun :( Works better without a scope.

Hey,

Loving this game, shame the drops are terrible for people that have been playing for 1000 plus hours and are just min maxing.

I'm currently just trying to get sub 10 minutes on the RAID, fastest at the moment is 11 mins 20 seconds.

I do hope they bring out more content and fix the little annoying things.

Just had my first go, did the tutorial thingy and the first mission and am surprised at how well it runs, even in DX12. Pushed all sliders to the right and it's as smooth as anything.

Looks great at times too.

I was capturing a point on a construction site when playing earlier, nighttime with heavy rain and a bunch of floodlights. Was impressed with how good it looked, albeit frustrated at trying to find and kill targets while avoiding being flanked with the low visibility.

Having tons of fun so far, at around 8 hours last I checked.

One crazy thing is what it does to my keyboard, the Corsair K70 RGB Mk.2, it's using the SDK for the lighting effects and flashes/strobes away like crazy.

Played the game for the first time a couple of hours tonight. Picked it up cheap from epic store the other day. I liked it, feel there's enough there to keep me going.

I have Corsair rgb lights in my case set to static light and then these lighting effects started on them when I launched the game as well as my k95 platinum keyboard! Was surprised, will likely try turn them off!

Got the game from the Epic Store sale and am loving every minute of it! I only played about 30mins of the first one, but this one keeps drawing me back in. As for the missions, I have only had to request for back-up on 2 occasions and the 2nd time was during a mission in World Tier 2. I am now in World Tier 3 and looking forward to more missions and intense encounters! Already spent over 30 hours playing this game if not more!

I'm also loving the game so far.

I've just started World Tier 1, I decided to go with the demolitionist specialisation to start with, although it was a close call between that and sharpshooter given I've spent my entire time in game sporting a sniper and a p90 so far. The P90 is an Emeline's Guard, for some reason I kept having them drop every 3-4 levels so I've pretty much used little else outside of whichever sniper rifle I've had.

Still early in the game I think. Only 26% progression and just turned level 13 after about 13 hours gameplay. Really enjoying it. Wish I wasn't a noob in terms of overall progression and knowing what weapons are best and what skills are most effective to unknown and what loot is best etc but still going along rather well.

While levelling it doesnt matter hugely your what your gun or armour is, personal preference I used mostly an AR & a sniper, but if you dont get your preffered weapon just whack on whatevers highest, if u can grab a mask with some damage to elites on it that will help a little with the yellow bar elite mobs, skills wise reviver hive is a big help at times, it works automatically if your downed (usually) other skills - cluster mines is a good aoe clearer, chem launcher with reinforcer is a heal, defender drone will stop a good few bullets hitting you, good to pop if your taking a hammering & dont have time to heal.

I messed around a bit but ended up settling with the chem launcher and assault turret for most stuff, the turret is seriously strong while leveling and if you solo a lot (like I do) it can really help against attempts by the enemy to flank you.
