Best to upgrade now or wait a while for new hardware ?

current set up is a gtx 970 and i5 4690k, 16 gb ram, starting to feel its age now

was thinking on upgrading in march for the release of a few games im excited for, doom eternal, resident evil 3 remake and cyberpunk, although it has got delayed to september, looking for any advice if i should spend now or wait to around june time, and i think nvidia may release some new cards ? any new cpus releasing this year ? thanks for any help

From a budget perspective the choice is dependent on the monitor/resolution you are on or planning to be on. If your'e on and want to stay on a 1080p I would have thought a GPU upgrade would see you through for a while. For 1440p or 4k I would recommend a system upgrade.

Next gen pretty close, but actual gen hasn't droped price to be worth. Wait a bit more.
