Hi Guys. My Huawei Mate 20 Pro has cracks in the front screen glass. The rear cover is also damaged. Does anyone know where i can buy genuine parts other than from Huawei? I fear if i go to a local repair place they will use non genuine parts.

Is a local phone repair shop likely to be able to do the glass replacement given it might be a more specialised task (thats my guess)? I would supply the parts. ;)

£279 for the part via Huawei (open hicare app and click spare parts )
Not too sure where else you could go but guess a repair shop may be cheaper if it's something they already had in stock

Thanks for your reply. I tried the Hicare app but it throws up an error when i try and select my particular phone model. I decided a screen replacement was too much money, i only found out today the front glass can be replaced. At the moment im unsure if Huawei sell that as an individual part. I would rather use a genuine part. I would not trust the local phone repair shop to use a genuine part.

I don't think I'd go anywhere else than Replacebase, most other stuff I've had from other places has been poor quality.

I bought all the parts for my Nexus 6P from there when I refurbished it (including a new aluminium body), and everything went together and was the same quality as all the original parts on the phone.

Many thanks for all the recommendations for replacebase. I had a look and the screen and rear cover are about 156 quid. By the time i have paid someone to fit it, the cost will likely be over 200 quid. It might make more sense to buy a used phone that is in very good condition. Something i need to think about. Thanks again guys ;)

You can't really get non Genuine parts for the mate 20 Pro.

This is why I use three's insurance

Hmm, i am a bit suspicious of the rear covers at 6 quid, im not sure about the screen itself. In the youtube video the chap replaces the glass cover for the screen so that must be a non oem part as Huawei dont list it.
