Hi, just wanted to check my basket with the forum as I've been away console gaming for a few years. Blowing the dust off my old case and looking to fill it up with the latest tech. All seem pretty standard recommendations after reading a few threads. Went for the mobo because I need to use wifi, worth getting it built in or a cheaper mobo and a seperate wifi card? Have a 200gb ssd which I'll use for OS. ALso have 3 old 1080p TN monitors which look terrible next to my laptops MVA screen, so going for a new monitor too, not sure when the one I've picked is actually out though, waiting for a webnote response from OC.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,204.13 (includes shipping: £13.20)

I'd go for the powercolor dual fan for £339
Cheaper, and mech of has ram thermal issues
Also change the SSD to the wd 1tb, tlc nand rather than qlc of the qvo. Same price for better quality nand
Ram...few quid more for the patriot 3600mhz ram

Got all the kit today and went for the LG - UltraGear 32GK650F Quad HD 31.5” monitor from a competitor in the end after reading good reviews and decent price. Only problem with reusing my old case is I haven't got enough screws and mounting standoffs, well, I have a large plastic box full of bits and pieces, cables of all sorts etc but they are 400 miles away at my parents house in the loft, I knew they'd come in handy some day! Forgot to take the obligatory box porn picture, will post a couple when I'm building though.

PC cases have only couple standard screws, so any PC screw set would work.
Though if case has its own HDD attachment etc that could be problem.

And you have to make sure motherboard standoffs are same height as those of case.
During the years I've had cases with small differences in those.
