please help, driving me mad "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET"

Hi all, I keep getting this while I'm playing battlefield 4, so far no other games except "they are billions".
works fine for about 10 mins then total crash, sometimes I get the error and sometimes I don't.
I can play cod and BFV and rdr2 at 2k un ultra-high as it will go for hours on end with no crashes but battlefield 4, every time without fail. i have the latest drivers for everything, no change. Using an external sound card and connected my 2560x1440p 144hz samsung via display port

My spec:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600X Six Core 4.4GHz (Socket AM4) Processor with a corsair H100i Platinum AIO cooler

Corsair 8GB 2x4GB sticks @3200mhz new

Corsair RMx Series RMx750 750W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply

Corsair Force MP510 series 960GB NVMe PCIe M.2 Solid State Drive

Powercolor Radeon RX 5700 XT Red Devil 8GB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Lian-Li Lancool One Digital Midi Tower

and a usb extension card for oculus rift


Any help or suggestions would really help me out

Unplug the external soundcard and the USB extension card and see what happens?


Also are all the drivers up to date, chipset, GPU etc...?

Check Event Monitor for any possible errors near time of crash.
Also reliability history could give hints.

And do you keep Oculus connected always?
If so, disconnect it just to see if anything changes.

Update, did some more digging, apprently people are having trouble with the drivers crashing and now theres a massive thread on here about it.They are billions turned out to be a freesync issue.
