Cars finishing at 110mph+ require a helmet

There is a Shell Garage here which you more than likely pass on your way into the area (If coming from the A14 there is one as you come off the A14 onto the A45)

Numbers have dwindled on the car scene generally IMO, let alone places like forums!

Not IME, local shows are bigger than ever. Castle Combe is absolutely heaving at the action days, much busier than even 5 years ago.

I’m not too fussed on a drag day, also it’s a bloody trek for me. I’ll be there for any dyno / track / show meets though :cool:

Yes.

Weather pending, i shall do a couple of early runs, then probably disappear as i have a friends birthday in London that night :)

11.16 @ 128 mph to beat. ( Stage 4.25 with SSIC, extra 42bhp and 29 lb torque )

Sorry I'll correct myself.

Cars that are leased/PCP'd/lowered/mapped/DSG meets are booming.

Real car events, arranged on a forum, less so :D

So much truth to this. Like minded people who appreciate engineering and the sorts are hard to come by with all the “scene” stuff that’s going on these days.
