Hello,
I have been interested in the new Fractal Design Define 7 XL since it has been released and I have a question. Since it isn't the best for cooling and I have some components which can generate quite some heat (a 3700X and an RTX 2080TI) I want the best possible fan layout for air cooling. The case can fit either three 140mm or four 120mm fans at the front and top, one 120mm or one 140mm fan at the rear, and either two 120mm or 140mm fans at the bottom.
My original plan was to have four 120mm fans at the front and one 140mm fan at the rear. I am thinking of four 120mm fans instead of three 140mm fans because, although the 140s will be quieter, the 120s should give me slightly greater cooling.
Would adding an intake fan at the bottom help with cooling my GPU?
What does everyone think of my cooling setup? Is there anything you would do differently?
