Hi, Looking to downsize my tower into a Mini Itx build but have never built one.

Last machine i build and currently using is.

6700k @4600mhz
Asus Maximus Hero VIII
16gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3000mhz
Samsung 850 evo 500gb
MSI Armor OC GTX 1080
EVGA G1 1000W Gold+
Phanteks P400s.

Looking to give this machine to my son so looking at a new build.

From browsing the forums I think a 3700x is the sweet spot but the amount of b450i and x570i boards is overwhelming.

Was thinking.

3700x
MSI B450i Gaming
16gb of 3600mhz ram
1tb nvme (also never used one of these)
Rtx 2070s of some description.

Case wise I have been looking at the NZXT H1 but cannot find it anywhere, understandably. So was thinking along the lines of a Cougar QBX + 240mm AIO + SFX PSU

Main use is VR gaming (Rift S) and 1440p gaming.

Any help is appreciated as I have never felt so lost with current tech!

I built my ITX system in February in the TU150 and it's great.

I went with the Asus ITX board but I'm a big fan of MSI. Power supply I went with a Corsair SF600, the modular cables are excellent quaility.

The case doesn't come with any fans so add some 120mm fans of your choice.
