I have linked 2 videos of my engine running and hoping that the Audio is clear enough 1 video is of the knocking sound the other is with the knocking and the engine is rocking too.

No warning lights on the dash whatsoever.

I've recently spent £1500 having a camshaft issue sorted along with all the lifters and rocker arms all being replaced and a new cam belt and water pump.

That was 4 weeks ago and this has now started.

I'm at a loss to be honest only had the car since February.

Not helpful but I think these are one of the most hit or miss engines ever created. Some people (like me) had massive oil consumption and constant problems and others owned them for many years with nothing going wrong. The place I bought it from replaced loads of stuff on it and then it ran out of warranty and continued to break. When I took it to a specialist they said there was about 6 cars parked around the place with the same engine, all with fairly large problems. When they hooked it up to a computer it had 14 fault codes and they told me it needed a full rebuild and a new ECU. In my experience these engines do much better with specialists than the mechanic who usually fixed my cars because they know them so well having dealt with so many of them. I owned it for 2 years but it pretty much consistently went wrong during that time and I ditched it after those same specialists advised me to do so. Wish I could help you more than "take it to a specialist":D

Thanks for your reply.

This is the thing I place I took it to were a VW Specialist.

I've contacted them and was very firm with them and explained the issue and sent them the videos I took.

I'm taking it in on Tuesday they are going to strip it all back and do the diagnosis free of charge as they feel liable for what's happened. So just going to have to see what happens from there. I would like to think they checked everything first time around when they sorted the camshaft issue.

If it's going to cost too much I may have to cut my losses and get rid. Don't want to but I can't keep ploughing money into a car that may never be right.

Check the PCV valve. Google it, there is a simple test to check it. Its common to fail. Cheap and easy to replace too, so hopefully its that.

Sounds like a cam chain tensioner fault (chain at the bottom) underneath the belt.

Do you have access to a VCDS or any OBD diagnostic tool? First think I'd check is the timing. Check the intake cam adjustment isn't exceeding +/-5 @ idle. I've just had a terrible time with my MK6 although it's a little different to yours with a chain and a known tensioner issue.

Mine was making similar noises although the chain was stretched the main reason for the noise a blocked oil channel to the cams and the variator! Good luck.
