Hi all.

I ordered parts from overclockers about 3 weeks ago now.
I have had all sorts of issues getting it stable.
I bought.
Ryzen 5 3600 cpu.
T force 2 x 8 sticks of memory.
Msi tomahawk max motherboard.
Asus arez rx 580 8 gig graphic card.
Sonic (cant remember the full name) gold 80+ psu.
And a tower.
Put all the components together correctly.
Installed windows 10.
Downloaded the amd drivers.
I just keep getting all sorts of errors.
Black screens, green screens, blue screens, windows stop errors.
Latest one is this pc needs to be repaired even though i am installing a fresh windows 10 installation from a usb drive?
Ive had freezes when windows has installed and run for anywhere from 10 mins to 3 days.
Even got to play some games when it actually stayed on.
What i bought the damn thing for.
I have already rmad the graphic card and 2 x memory sticks which were replaced.
It will just not work.
When windows 10 is installed, radeon drivers which has been an absolute nightmare.
Insalled windows updates.
I keeps freezing up even though all the parts are new??
I am using from my other pc 1 x ssd drive with windows 10 on it (when it works).
And a back up hdd drive.
The ssd has been checked for errors and passed the tests?
What is going on haha.
Someone help please?

Edit i have updated the motherboard bios when i had windows running via usb etc.

update to the latest amd gpu drivers, what you said above with green screen usually indicates a gpu error, either power or drivers are acting up, easiest thing to check first is drivers, so if the latest version works happy days, for reference make sure you amd driver is

"Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.4.2 Recommended (WHQL)"

also if this driver doesn't work try a beta version which would be

"Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.5.1 Optional"

link to this page https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-500-series/radeon-rx-500-series/radeon-rx-580

if the above drives don't fix the problem then it's time to look at your psu, either its cheap unit not capable of powering the system or it is faulty from the factory (DOA)

Thanks all for the help it really is a totall mystery.
I have asked overclockers about rmaing the psu.
I had doubts at the start purchasing it thinking i will need a stronger psu.
If it isnt that and they accept that i can exchange it for a better one.
Thr only other thing is motherboard and cpu.
But both temps when working were fine.

Download hwmonitor and check your temps. Maybe your cooler isn't seated properly and you're overheating
All the temps are fine honestly i have been monitoring them as the system was on.
I had loads of gpu spikes via radeon software and that froze my screen up as i mentioned earlier.
When i loaded previous driver via device manager the stuttering and errors stopped but the drivers are not loaded.
So damn confusing.

did you try the latest drivers for your gpu, also can you confirm the exact psu model you have? (ideally a minimum of 550w i hope)

If this was the psu you went with then it should be more than ample to power all your components that said it could still be faulty, do you have another PC to test it in?

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £80.45 (includes shipping: £10.50)

Hi all.

I have had a few issues with my old pc last month or two.
I built this pc back in 2012 too 2013.
Blue plus white scrrens of death, funny enough nothing in games but have noticed very slight artifacts of late.
It has lasted longer then i would have imagined and i can still play games although not all on max settings these days.
I have a Gigabyte Ga-Z77-D3H motherboard.
Radeon x edition HD 7950 3 gig ddr graphic card.
4 x Corsair vengence 4 gig 1600 mhz memory.
Intel I5 3750k cpu.
Generic 750 watt psu.

What price am i looking at to be able to play the latest games on full settings?
Do i keep some parts or replace everything, all stock by the way.

Thankyou..

Looking at an another thread it seems you was having similar issues with your old PC, did you use any parts from this PC in your new one like a hard drive for instance?.

But i fully error tested the ssd and hdds and they were good according to the tests.
I have rmaed the whole system now.
So will be picking a new one soon.
But i will sesrch for the parts this time. :D
