Yeah not many colours of this about.

1.8t bam engine (same out of mk1 cupra r, S3). Running around 270bhp with a map, DV valve, intake etc.

Ride height is standard, do think they are a little lowered still from factory

Issue is that I couldn't go from my Merc that has nothing wrong at all with it mechanically, not even rattles, to something that I know will need some TLC. It would almost need to be a second car.

They are great fun (!) and has got under my skin. The only thing I want to get rid of it for is something completely unpractical like a Caterham. For now it's the sunny weekend / track day car.

BMW are so frustrating as this is a really handsome car yet everything else they've brought out looks like a steaming pile of turd.

Only the 340i / 340d have a different design exhaust. Still technically twin pipes though.
