AMD's pulled an Intel lol.
These were always going to be meh, the issue is the pricing though which will make them negatively received by anyone objective.

I hope AMD still launch the 4XXX this year...

They haven't really, they are still in same line just with better tuned chips which give a 4-6% performance improvement, which for intel for several generations involve a whole new die and motherboard.
Not quite the same thing at all.
Good to see envelope pushed, but we'll all be hoping for more than 4-6% from the 4000 series in the long run.

I made reference to this earlier, it's AMD's "Devil's Canyon". The comparison is apt.

This has also pushed up the pricing, I got a 3900X for £475 on launch, the 3900XT over a year later is now £499, and has no cooler.

Can't see anything positive about this overall launch.

This kind of launch should never exist, and should merely just be refined silicon in the normal products. This *used* to be the way it happened.

Like when the Phenom II silicon matured (I had a 1055T that could do 4.4GHZ)
