Why would anyone put it on a road car anyway? With the forces involved and the mileage covered they'd last a few thousand miles and fall apart. Very clever tyres though, pretty sure they're bullet proof too.

Just only a couple of plys to give the wrinkle wall feature.

Tweels there sno where for the excess rubber to go if they have sidewall. No air pressure to ballon out and back like a normal pneumatic tyre with rough roads, kerbs and cobbles etc

Could you not have the sidewall detached from the tweel matrix? That way excess rubber wouldn't be an issue, especially if you have a 'skirt' effect.
