Ouch!! How does your butt hole fall out to the point it needs an operation??

Porn industry? Massive butt plugs?

Genuinely curious so I can avoid!!

Really hope you get better soon.

Soothing baths? Though I'd assume you're supposed to keep it as dry as possible to help with healing?

I have a root canal where the anaesthetic didn't work properly due to infection in the nerve, that wasn't fun. Broken ribs are weeks of misery, but not as bad in the instance. Perhaps the most painful thing I've had happen was getting my head shaved by scalpel blade. Nurse shaved over it 6 times, trying to get the hairs cut (and it gets more blunt as time goes on I assume), no idea how well cut the hair was, but the nerve endings were certainly exposed (not even considering the fact that my scalp had a Y shaped gash in it which is why I was there). Doctor came in and scalded her, asked for a fresh blade, and went over one last time, super hard. As painful as that was, I was grateful for the knowledge that it was the last time.

Shame he forgot to inject any pain killer etc before the last few stitches when he found a bit more of a cut. Not as bad as the scalpel, but a sort of insult to injury moment.

EDIT - Maybe find out what's recommended for soothing after tearing from childbirth? Obviously laxitives don't help there, but cleanliness and removing pain is important.

Hopefully you get some help. Fingers crossed and buttox clenched! :p
Unfortunately they told me to go to A&E, strongest thing they can have prescribed is codeine. Unfortunately I cannot take that as it causes constipation. Which would be a nightmare with what's happening with me.

So its to A&E who can hit me with tramadol or other...

But...

I can't even get dressed...

Dressing gown or bath robe is more than enough for A&e.

Wow ,some hard core pain storys ,i gave myself a sizeable groin hernia in lockdown ,couldnt even get to see a doc although got a blood and no 2 sample done (blood taken while i was sat in a car) my pain was only equal to a punch in the groin area but my pain threshold is pathetic,
anyway treated with youtube exercises ,and 23 hour a day on non solids for amonth or so (protein powder ,and berries mix) ,my own idea . no sign of it now

Can you imagine the trauma they'd suffer, hearing the outrageous screams of anger and pain coming from their front door, then slowly lifting the internal letterbox flap to see what's happening outside only to be greeted by the sight of the angry eye of Sauron projecting a fountain of aloe vera scented black goo straight into their terrified faces as they try to scramble back into the hallway but keep slipping and sliding on the black goo whilst the noxious gas starts to melt the paint from the walls?

I mean I'd chuckle :D
One of the funniest posts I've seen for a long time literally got half way through and couldn't breath lol

Hope the op finds some relief, sounds horrific

I bought some cream from amazon. They just delivered it.
It's pretty much a local anastetic.

It's... Made my bum hole numb, as long as I don't move or clench.

I just worry it will wear off in 5 mins.

Try antiseptic cream from the chemist? They have some strong stuff that they can give you without a prescription.

@Diagro wishing you a speedy recovery, sounds like you're having a nightmare of a time. I hope Monday your GP can sort out some better pain management for you.

The worst pain I've had is what I'm going through now (which doesn't sound anywhere near as horrific as what everyone else has mentioned); I have shingles in the face/head and around the eye. Although as this started over 3 weeks ago the antivirals have shifted a lot of the rash but boy the nerve pain in the face, behind the eye, around the ear have been horrendous. I've had constant generalised pain & then ice pick stabbing pain. All the glands on the right side of my neck in week one were swollen & I couldn't touch the right side of my head or neck. Took a little while to get the right pain management, started with the normal stuff but then had to shift to codeine, paracetamol, ibuprofen & amitriptyline. Swapped from codeine after the first week to tramadol, currently trying to step down some of the other pain killers. :(
