Ah man, I thought the 5700XT was the guaranteed part of the build! Historically I’ve always gone for NVIDIA GPUs but the lads 5700XT was impressive but looking at the price proximity I agree it’s worth a look

5700 XT is very impressive for it's price point, but with 2070S offers popping up at £450 there's now only a £10 to 50 gap (model dependent) between it and the 5700 XT models.

The 2070S is definitely superior, it equals or betters 10% in some games over as mentioned.

I also prefer Nvidia drivers personally - much more stable and reliable imo over AMD GPUs...

IMO:

1. I'd also go with the RTX2070S if you can get it at the right price.
2. I'd definitely stick with the H115i Platinum, the base plate is from cool-it not asetek and is larger which suits the larger heatspreader size of Ryzen IMO and the 3900x does seem to respond well overclocking wise (or even PBO) with better cooling.
