Looking to finally build a new build,

Looking to potentially go Ryzen but don't really know what I'm looking for.

Only need CPU+MOBO as already have all the other components (previously ordered RAM when I was thinking about upgrading) and will utilise components from current build (PSU, case M2/SSDs etc)

Ideally don't want to spend an extortionate amount as I was looking at either the 3600x/3700x but not sure what MOBO to pair it with.

Either or if I'm honest, as long as it can provide a good base for the system the size doesn't matter

If you’ve got an ATX case then go for the Tomahawk Max.

Just bear in mind B450 has no PCIe 4.0 support for Gen4 NVMes and in future PCIe4 GPUs.

Just in case of you wanting to future proof a little more. I’d possibly look at the Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite. But if you’re not bothered then the MSI B450 boards mentioned are still solid choices.

@Sparx Yeah currently have an ATX case, thanks both for the recommendations.

Think I might splash a little extra and go for a B550 board just for a little bit more longevity.
