Glide Residential Internet

Sorry to sound completely incompetent with this but: I have recently installed my Apple Time-capsule via LAN to my Glide Residential internet connection.

Upon doing this my time capsule has created it's own secured WIFI settings but also allowed my PS4 to connect through the Time-Capsule via LAN on what appears to be a more secure LAN connection.

My now new wifi connection is password protected and my Lan connection seems more stable (maybe it's just me).

My question is: Can I obtain this kind of secure mini network via Glide with a router? If so how do I go about it?

Appreciate any help

The Time Capsule is a router.

No, not silly at all. To do the same with a different router, do the same thing you did with the Time Machine.

You already did everything correctly.

Having re-read my response it might be read as sarcasm, and that wasn’t the intention, so sorry if I caused any discomfort or offence.
