Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
I must be stupid, don't get it.
oh you!!
To be fair, i still maintain RT on the turing cards is a gimmick.. A gimmick going in the right direction but not a deal breaker.
Any excuse
Better than "all reet geese" himself?Well, he got virtually everything about the RTX 20 series absolutely right before it released so you can call him whatever you like but he has a good reputation, certainly better than anyone on this forum

Hopefully he is saying that, once again (at long last ), AMD have a chip worth talking about

Gotcha, yes my 7970 Matrix was very, very nice.Tahiti was the chip in the HD7970 and Hawaii was the chip in the 290x
Arguably two of AMDs best GPUs of recent times.

Or maybe he was talking about the burning smell, which reminded him of a volcanic eruption?Tahiti was the chip in the HD7970 and Hawaii was the chip in the 290x

After all, he did say he "smelled" something red...
I think it's a good thing. We can get it earlier.
Vega 64 or buy the 1080 a year before it, I know which one I'd have chosen back then. The V64 and VII have been solid for me too to be honest. No driver issues with any of them bar the weird FF black screen issue I got a number of years ago, Not sure if that was on the 290x or 64 though.
Ooor he's saying it's hot AND loud
Any excuse
Having owned an R9 290 myself I feel that video completely justifies my experience. Wasn't even a reference model and it still ran hot.Lol, that ###### video is like the kryptonite to AMD'ers...
