My predictions
3060 = 2080/2070s
3070 = 2080ti
3080 = 2080ti + 20-25%
3090 = 2080ti + 40-50%
All with much better RT performance also
Do you think the Ti is being dropped, at least initially?
Historically the 90 has been a dual chip GPU. My guess is the 90 will either be dual chip or maybe a scaled back Titan and will be more like 70% faster if the other stats in your table are anywhere near correct - it'll be a larger jump than the Ti usually makes per generation.
Overall, while RT does take up space obviously, the 7nm node should allow for a decent jump in non-RT performance too, this generation. Larger than the 20 series had over the 10

Did I see that right, the 3060 is going to cost more than the 2070 did ?

Dread to think how much 3070 and 3080 Ti will be.

Remember when new GPU launches used to be fun ? xD

Just fake news. One minute the 3090 will be $1999, next minute it will be $1399. Who knows what it will be tomorrow. Only Jensen and maybe a select few know and even that may change the last minute.

Ah fair enough, nobody has real pricing yet then?

Isn't there some kind of reveal thing happening soon?

I could be tempted by an RTX 3080 with AIO, assuming it beats my 2080 Ti nicely. Don't want to spend more than £800.

Will grab a 3090 next year when second hand, no doubt pricing will be far to much at launch for me.

Tempted by a PS5 as well, some of the game and tech demo's I've seen are impressive. Imagine what a decent dev team can do on that technology.

Good time to be a gamer, bad time for my wallet.

Yeah, I think there is an event coming up from nvidia soon. Not sure but 1st September comes to mind. Until it comes out from them I won’t believe it. Too many times these sites get it wrong for me to believe rumours.

It'll sit nicely between the 2080s and 2080ti as to not depreciate the 2080ti too much, otherwise you really will be looking at sub £500-400 2080ti's in the secondhand market especially if RT is a lot more efficient on the 3000 series.

Why would Nvidia give a **** what a 2080ti sold for on the second hand market? :confused:

I really hope it equals the 2080Ti, because it would make the 3070 represent the best bang for buck in the 3000 series.

It's nVidia they'll probably still try and charge at least £599 at release for the RTX 3070 if we're lucky, AMD need to hurry up with Big Navi.

May not even appear and be replaced by the S super.
