It was a fall-back node, not meant to last very long. Samsung had issues with their 7nm EUV, so they went to 8nm instead.. It is quite power hungry and not great...is that bad?

We'll see that shortly, RT performance does not interest me much at the moment. Like you said, Raster performance is where it counts for most of us.as much as i would rather pay for grunt than having rtx that is indeed impressive
