On a FE by FE comparison it is. Twice the price is it twice the card?

But performance doesn’t scale linearly with price. It’s overpriced from what I would pay but I’m just a tight git and wouldn’t dream of paying anywhere close to a grand or more to play games. Each to their own I guess.

I'm not too upset over the pricing either. The 3080 seems a very good price for what you get compared to the 2080 and even the 2080ti

They are probably not directly comparable to Turing cores though. So it could be something like dual vector units being counted as two CUDA cores,or the cores have been depreciated,so there are more of them.

We will soon know,as when reviews drop,the uarch designs will also be released.
