How much would you pay?
What if there was 1+ Year of Warranty left and it was transferable?
Hybrid Cooler? Does it matter?

Just curious what people with a lot more computer experience think about this.
Personally I would pay £450 max for a used 2080Ti and £500 if there's a hybrid cooler (At least 1+ Year warranty on both).

People are selling their cards in an attempt to recoup money they lost in buying it. I am not sure how many, right now, will sell it at that price. But if you know you aren't interested in RT and just want something to tie you over then £400 should be your max IMO. Because if RDNA 2 is on par, if not better then, 3080 that lowers the price even more. Which lowers it well below £400 at that point.

So as it stand right now we won't know for another month. Are you in a hurry?

ooh. Wow. I just need a card for work stuff and games right now. I sent my 2080ti to RMA yesterday lol. I'll probably just wait unless I can find something for 350 then.

A lot depends on the benches. I suspect that it will compare better than suggested to the 3080
The one thing that does make me think that the 3080 is going be much faster then the 2080Ti is the 3080 320watt power draw compared to the 2080ti 250watts

16nm 2080ti 250watts
8nm 3080 320watts

Since there is a influx of 2080ti for sale (most of which are still in people's PCs) induces a buyers market right now for used 2080ti.
Therefore, I suggest you paying well below £450 right now. I wouldn't go any higher then £300

Because 1 of 2 things will happen. Either they aren't pressed to sll because they are still using it. So they want at least 1/2 or better for what they paid for it.
Or, it's sitting in a box somewhere and they want the money now for Ampere. IMO.
