How does a guy like this get a girl like that?

I don't think its a bad idea having a group full of men all helping each other socialise. I think it only becomes toxic when it becomes a pity party.

The problem I've seen with a lot of guys who get really down about women is they don't know how to be a man and enjoy male company. They seem to make being in a relationship the whole of their identity, and when that relationship crashes they crash too.

This is kinda an incel-ish thread... girl in the OP isn't particularly hot, maybe she's a bit of an introvert, maybe she doesn't care and just gets on really well with the little guy or maybe's she's got a fetish...

Anyway, not really as extreme an example as this:

Like the same possible questions there... is it genuine? Is it a fetish? Would she still be dating him if youtube/becoming a social media star wasn't a thing?

She probably wanted to get a train ran on her and a Wheelchair was a good compromise?

You can probably google this but Elliot Rodgers was a poster on the Something Awful forums and was an incel before that terminology existed. He was also a likely crazy person. Also, an American (this becomes important shortly). So, as well as writing increasingly awkward and sometimes slightly scary posts on said forum, Elliot decided he'd write a manifesto and upload a retribution video to youtube before … remember that important bit I mentioned earlier? … he stabbed three men to death at his house (or apartment, I can't remember exactly), drove to his frat house and shot a couple of women outside, drove around town a bit more and (IIRC) killed a few more people and also had a pop at some police before crashing his car and shooting himself.

Elliot had a strong hatred for women, amplified by the constant rejection he faced from them. He'd had a pretty troubling upbringing, was bullied and suggestions of mental health issues.

OK, that's enough school for one day.

e: MGTOW is an acronym for Men Going Their Own Way. They're a pretty sad bunch but you can read more about it yourself if you're inclined (but don't, it's terribly depressing).

He was a very troubled young man.

I used to visit bb.com around that time, don't really remember him

You're lucky.

His sense of entitlement was next level, he genuinely believed he had some god given right to have a 'girlfriend' because he was better than other guys because he drove a BMW or other random reasons.

I remember him having a lot of sock accounts on some websites due to getting banned/blocked regularly.

"This is very unsettling" is still one hell of a punchline :D I didn't realise he posted on Misc as well as SA because that screengrab is almost word for word what I remember from one of his SA threads. Assume he copied/pasted a lot as his numerous accounts were revealed/banned/started up again.

The amount of average and she's a 6 posts on here are quite embarrassing. Who cares who cares whom, if all is legal etc of course, it's really all irrelevant.

thank you. Thats quite shocking, his mind really must have been screwed to that stuff. Maybe someone told him when he was young that he could have whatever girl he wants or something similar.

I recall about 30 years ago a relative of mine (who was good looking) grew up with a girl that lived nearby. They were good friends. When she was 18, she was very good looking. He wanted to marry her. She was thrilled and became engaged.
Then out of the blue at the age of 18 she got married to a 55 year old man, who was over-weight and not good looking. But he was wealthy.

To be fair it would've been hard to differentiate between someone genuine and someone trolling at that point in time

Funny how that works isn't it, a big bank account can surpass almost anything. Gold diggers everywhere.

To be fair wealth is actually an attractive trait to women, they aren't necessarily gold digging so much as just genuinely finding them attractive.

It's simple, women in general think midgets are cute, back in the early 90s, I used to go clubbing with a work colleague who was just over 4ft tall, all the top fanny used to randomly just come upto him all the time and chat him up lol.
