Comms Priority.

Is that an application that allows you to easily set the priority of comms messages from certain apps?

I have seen such a thing that was supplied with Killer Network chips.

The reason I want something like this is I have a PC that frequently slows down because some of the apps are just stealing way too much bandwidth.

It's not possible to access the router to do this, so I was wondering if there was anything I could do on the PC end.

Awesome! That's exactly what I wanted. It's not perfect, but it's extremely good. Without access to the router I don't think it's possible to get it any better. Thank you.

Look at it another way, do the apps themselves not have a bandwidth setting? Most online storage, gaming services, download clients and streaming services have an option to limit bandwidth used which would make more sense.
