*60% performance per watt uplift
*No HBM2
*Not using 512bit bus. Lower Bus width
*Infinity Cache on the GPU 128MB which helps make up for the lack of memory bandwidth of GDDR6
*Clock Frequency similiar/around to PS5
*80CU
*6700, 6800, 6900 skus
*6700 will compete 3070
*6800 will compete against the 3080
*6800XT will compete against the 3080 TI
*6900 will compete 3090 but will be faster then a 3080TI. Not sure if it will beat a 3090
*No word if they will undercut Nvidia pricing.

There was a twitter thread about Linux drivers and 16 slice L2$ indicating either 512bit bus or 2048 bit bus. I still think top SKU will have hmb2. If they sell it for 1k, why not.

There's at most a 20% gap between the 3080 and 3090. Id guess a 3080ti if it arrives will be closer to the 3090, probably 5% behind. Not much space there for three AMD skus. More like 6800xt is 3080 speed, 6800 is 10% lower. 6900xt will be within 5% of 3090 and match 3080ti.

128mn cache, not sure. Sounds out there

Just saw a new Red Gaming tech video where he's claiming RDNA2 has beaten its 50% performance per watt improvement and has come out more like 60% and that they'll be aiming to compete right accross the SKU's. Also a bit about a Memory Cache enabling it to compete with the higher Nvidia cards and their increased memory bandwidth without needing to go for expensive HBM2.It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out and it looks like they're going to force Nvidia to release the 3080Ti by positioning a 6800XT to compete with it's likely performance. So it's good news whether people go red or green.

*Hybrid Ray Tracing (AMD Patent)
*Up-sampling handled via lower precision operations.
*Decompression: unknown at this time
*This will not be another Vega64

nice break down thanks

Been told he is an AMD fanboy and talks crap as much as the other youtube armchair experts

That seems like extremely weak reasoning to not only ignore someone, but to then tell other people to ignore him too :D

The whole video looks like just speculations and "wishful" thinking.
I would take it all with huge truck of large piles of sea salt.

Not against the guy but the reality might turn out to be quite different.

If it was nVidia being 5000% better you'd believe it though ;)
I'll be honest though, his conclusions are not that far off where I've seen a lot of supposed leaks putting big navi.. Maybe a little optimistic but I don't think it's gonna be that far out.

Hmm I’ve seen him slate amd and just look how excited he got after the Nvidia ampere presentation.

I would say he just gets so excited about tech that he reports everything he hears, he has been right and he has been wrong. I sometimes think people send him duff information for trolls.

I’d say out of all the YouTubers he is the last one that would end up in a companies pocket.

I will say he can be very naive at times with some of the so called leaks he shares though

NVIDIA have a habit of delivering though

I'm certainly not dismissing anything from any rumors, but infinity cache? What the hell is that, sounds silly for a GPU. Does in ring a bell with Zen anyone?
It was rumor that RDNA 3 will be a MCM design around infinty fabric along with some sort of caching setup. Can't say if this is true or not. And I haven't heard of infinty cache before either.

And put "seems to be" before just about every point he makes.
