Hopefully they catch the scumbag who shot the cops and he does life, you don't get the publics respect by being caught in stupid lies though.

https://www.rawstory.com/2020/09/vi...hospital-where-ambushed-cops-were-recovering/

Yet the article itself claims a "huge crowd" but then includes the police tweet which clearly doesn't make that claim? The reported is mincing about by the entrance with the protestors too after the deputies have told them to disperse away from the entrance, then follows the police, then is told to back up (and surprise surprise she doesn't show the rest of that footage... next tweet included is from a third party filming her arrest.)

Doesn't seem like a good idea to be among a group blocking a hopsital entrance or to start hasstling deputies trying to make an arrest of those people right after two of their colleagues have been shot. I'm not sure I've got much sympathy for her or the "protestors".

Exactly the same attitude you'd expect from any arrogant, feckless rulebreaker. I wonder how many folk have justified a cheeky night out on the razzle with their mates in the same way?
Absolutely.

The irony of this thread is just how alike in thinking are those railing against the criminals, and the criminals themselves (that, and the low self-awareness needed to make the whole thread possible).

Quite. If that's the road they really want to take then fine, but it has to apply to everyone (not just the people they like) and every law (not just the ones they disagree with).

What's good for the goose...

Panting like a fiend
This shows how stupid you are and don't know the laws of the land.

She did not have any papers to say that she could be there. She admitted it. She didn't identify herself
and was interfering with a lawful arrest.
Just because some shows you a card your supposed to give them a pass?

Grow up.
What papser was she meant to have above and beyond press credentials (on show)

"interfering with an arrest" how?
She moved over to see what was going on (as a good journalist is meant to do), but yes of course in America "interfering with an arrest" can mean simply filming it and the first amendment be damned, a bit like "refusing to disperse" when the person is already moving away and the officers run ahead of them.
A professional police force wouldn't lie about her having no press ID, wouldn't lie about her having not identified herself - and the moment you admit they've done that (which you can see on her own footage, and that from a TV camera crew) the rest of their report is very, very much in doubt.

But yerah American Police hell YEah! the best in the world! never a bad apple when they've got a reputation over the last few months that makes China and Iran look good.

Where is your evidence she had no press ID? This isn’t Nazi Germany, you don’t need “papers” to be on the public streets. Where is your evidence she admitted she didn’t have press ID? She said she did. She is clearly shouting what press organisation she works for yet the police tweet says she only stated it later. Sorry I’m thinking they’ve been caught in a lie. It’s not like they are above such things.

How many Police Officers are there in America? Do you watch much footage of what Policing in America actually looks like? Go on Youtube and look for "Live PD" and just watch what they actually have to put up with on a daily basis.

Do your home work and backup what you think before spurting rubbish.

So. You go to a website that agrees with your agenda and post it, with out making sure it's fact...oh dear

Well read up on it if your that interested.

It also shows you haven't read what went down.
All press have to have passes to be at protests. You can't just show up as the press.

Dis86 put you right in this thread.
Still waiting for you to acknowledge you was wrong(again)

"The female adult, who was later identified as a member of the press, did not identify herself as press and later admitted she did not have proper press credentials on her person. Both individuals have been arrested for 148 P.C."

Now you lazy liberals can rest easy.
But next time do your home work...Or you will need a bid,,,because IT WILL get messy :)
