Yeah it's pretty demanding, i expected this to happen anyway. Though maybe it's not fully optimised, hopefully actual upcoming games won't be quite as demanding because there's not all that much action going on, which means it would go down even more if there were explosions etc, probably.
No vent holes on the backplate seems an odd decision to me. It’s definitely a different approach to everybody else. Will be interesting to see reviews.
To be fair I have seen some other board makers and they have heatpipes on the backplate as well but they still have cut outs for that third fan to flow all the way through.

I'd be very surprised if there is any OC cards on release apparently from reading up these will come at a later date.
And there's no shortage as such if Nvidia don't **** TSMC off for being greedy on their 7nm process we'd probably have more 7nm GPUs from Nvidia this year instead of 8 or 10+++++ if you want to be realistic about it.
Rumours were Nvidia was going to TSMC for the stock clocked chips and Samsung for the OC chips apparently it's all Samsung now so that explains the "Good luck getting one this year" statements all over the place.
AMD has TSMC all sewn up with the GPUs for the consoles then the PC afterthought, probably because they weren't arguing about the price for the orders of the fab.

I think one thing people are forgetting, this Bright Memory Infinite benchmark isn't even released, the game itself only has "2021" for release with no specific window.

Isn't it a showcase though? They're always generally demanding, even 3DMark is demanding for the graphics it offers.
Any idea when benchmarks/ reviews will be out tomorrow, when I wake up at 8am rekon we'll have reviews in the UK?
Still hoping some leak today.
But it gives you a good indicator of what kind of grunt we are going to need over the next two years to run games.
The fact that the flagship card can only run this game in usable framerates in 1440p using DLSS is worrying for people planning on gaming in 4k.

Not really, it could be terribly optimised.
I might also add that only 1 person is currently developing the game..

No idea mate, I don't know / understand the problem in somebody confirming IF they have stock of them on the day or they indeed will be pre order and expected when? im not after stock numbers just so i know where i stand with that card. Surely stock now of 3080s is creeping on the shelves for thurs? cant be any later than tomorrow anyway.
It is built with Unreal engine and has ray traced reflections. If this is worst case, rather then Nvidia’s cherry picked best case, then 50% faster than a 2080 Ti is still pretty good.

That’s my thoughts too, are we really expecting graphics that look like that in the next 2-3 years? I don’t think so. That is like a crysis level of jump in image quality from what I remember seeing before it got taken down.

Yeah I don't mean there won't be OC cards, I meant OC cards at a later date apparently, From memory clock speed came pretty quickly after previous announcements so I'd be very surprised they will be available this or next week.

I read somewhere that TSMC just didn't have the capacity for Nvidia. Apple are first in the queue for TSMC and takes between 20 - 25% of their output.
