I had an order in for one. Cancelled it due to Covid. Still have that tinge of regret every time I see one. Would have been a massive upgrade from the Leaf.

I really like them and they're the number 1 contender for my next car, apart from the very slow DC charging they seem brilliant in almost every respect. But if you'll rarely need to charge away from home it should be ideal.

Does that one have the heatpump? I know all the UK models do but with the previous gen car in the states and the continent it was an option so worth checking that it has one to keep the efficiency up in the winter.

Yeah, I'm a big fan, would have preferred one instead of the Zoe, but they were quite a bit pricier for shorter range

The 38kwh is pretty nice though - assuming the OP has established that an electric car is suitable for them, then the Ioniq is certainly one I'd be seriously considering

I might get an Ioniq hybrid as my next car. From the back it's fugly. Front isn't so bad. Mainly interested due to the economy and price of high spec used examples for the commute/town run-aroud, compared to something like a Golf or uglier hybrids like the Prius.

Are they like Kona's with respect to options for battery heating or heat pumps ?
this seem like a domain of subterfuge by manufacturers now, these are nuts'n'bolts stuff like air conditioning.

The Zoe isn't on that graph. The Renault in the last column is the Renault Samsung Motors SM3 Z.E. (Renault Fluence in Europe).

We've got an Electric 2020 Ioniq Premium SE -its a brilliant car and kit level is fantastic. I'd happily recommend it.

Note: It is not some phenomenal engaging drive - if you just want to get around very cheaply, its perfect.
