Christ almighty, he ever heard of a scalpel or something? A drill and glue to get those tabs off?

Far fewer screws but does look a bit tricky to take apart.

saw another video earlier and it looked easy. They used sticky tape to get the screw covers off. Everything else was easy if you know where to put your finger nail under,

reassured me that fitting a waterblock will be easy and little risk of damaging the card.

Be a shame to put one on it, looks to be a really well built cooler.

Am I the only one hunting frantically for my modular PSU cables? Currently have a dual 8/6 cable and can't find the box for the PSU or other cables :(:(:(:mad::mad::eek::eek::eek:

Just watched the entire teardown video, it's cute that Steve thinks NVIDIA listened to him about the amount of screws on the fe card. Just seems to be more a matter of the design of the cooler this time around that led to less screws. 16 or so vs 65+

Starting to think I should probably wait for AMD news...
Hm... decisions...

I looked at Joker's performance review/benches of the 3080 and yes its a 4K card.. but in the most demanding of games (RDR2) its JUST about a 4K card. Gets awfully close to that 60fps mark.. and by close.. i mean right on the line.

But then what are the odds of AMD bettering the 3080 realistically? Can't remember the last time they've turned up...

The 3080 is a beast.. until next week when the word beast is redefined! Its actually a pretty good cooler as FE designs go.

Anandtech review delayed unfortunately, should be out next week with 3090 I believe.

it is but with 2gb modules they can do a 20gb 3080ti and only use one side of the board.

if they use both sides it has to be 24gb I think. Then too much like the 3090

Not sure where they would put them on the back
