What laptop processor alternative to desktop is 2400?

my partner works from home with the current system I built her

Dell 620
I5 2400
8gb
Gt 720

The drives are ssd & mech, but irrelevant in this case.

I want to get her a replacement in the form of a laptop, but i don't know what
Will be a good replacement and with only a budget of 300-400 I'm finding it difficult for something comparable.

i5 2400 is pretty old now. Any 4 core Ryzen cpu based laptop will provide enough grunt.

With a laptop spend the extra on the screen so many budget laptops have terrible screens.

I bought and customised a lenovo R3 4300u 14" Ips Ideapad 5 for £500 delivered, you could build it for just over £400 if budget tight.
