OK, well that's the most expensive one. :)

Yeah but seriously? Why would anybody by a 3070 with restrictive 8gb and 20% slower than a 3080 when you can buy (well could) buy a 3080 for less which will smash it?

I would still rather stump up the extra £60 for the Asus TUF 3080 than pay that much for a 3070.

I thought the 3 series was meant to be offering incredible value for money? Seems customers are now happy to pay 3080 prices for 3070 cards and looking at some people giving in and buying from scalpers on the bay, people are prepared to pay more than 2080ti prices for the 3080.

it's only the premium asus card which is 3080 prices (which is always the case with asus).
the rest of the aftermarket 3070's are still mainly around the £500 mark. altho yes if you're prepared to spend that much money on a single component you're almost better off saving up the extra £150 for a 3080.. however GL getting a 3080 for £650 any time soon ^_^
consumers/demand have dictated the prices atm, people are clearly willing to pay well over £650 for a 3080, if you want a cheap 3000 card it's gonna be a lonnnnnng wait.

Yeah prices keep going up, never understand why this happens, just because something is popular shouldn't push up the RRP.

Capitalism.

Although, if you want to split hairs, the RRP isn't being increased. It'll always be the same as Nvidia won't increase their FE price (but will likely never have stock), stockists can sell the cards for whatever they want. All down to supply and demand.

Supply and demand. And by the time there is supply Nvidia will probably artificially inflate the price as the 40xx series will be just around the corner......
