No, you don't but I'd want a rechargeable battery for definite, it's not 1998 any more :D:p

As for the PS5 storage prices, hopefully they'll release a good range of compatible SSD's - the just released Samsung 980 pro is around the same price but there's bound to be slightly slower options around £100 for 1TB which is much much more appealing. With MS you've got one option, take it or leave it.

Hot swapping rechargeable AA's is a pretty good solution.

4 rechargeable AA batteries, 2 in the controller, 2 charged and ready, costs about £14 for the batteries (panasonic eneloop), jobs a good un!

IKEA Tjugo Charger - £15
IKEA Ladda 2450 mAh Rechargeable AA 4 Pack - £5.50

Problem solved. This solution is also modular, allowing you to power other items around your home :p

Doom Eternal is coming to Game Pass for Xbox on 1st October, and to Game Pass for PC later this year.

Hopefully this is the start of the Bethesda floodgates opening.

Yep, I was thinking about £150-£160. No way am I paying £220!
People thought Sony were bad with the storage for ps vita Microsoft just took it to a whole new level of rip off.

I mean it's practically the Series S itself and half of Series X.

They must have a huge margin of profit on it
