Close between FF7 (PS1) and Chrono Trigger (SNES). Only 2 OST that I know so well that with any song I know exactly which part its from (played both them to death over multiple formats)

Streets of Rage 4 has a pretty awesome soundtrack and the way it's looped to trigger at key moments is really slick.

Super Mario Odyssey is one of my recent favourites.

Other classics are Halo, Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3, Doom, Duke Nukem.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Set the theme for the game incredibly well, there's a bunch of soundtracks I love for various games but this has always stood out for me.

I find OST's inferior to the music in game. They often are not the same and also too short. Sometimes they dodnt include all tracks either.

I have played many games with music I like usually JRPG's.

The most polished, well produced and inspired soundtrack is probably Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The original is iconic, but the Remake is just on another level. Can't wait to see what more they do with it.
