What model number you going for?

It looks like a great machine to me. Add wash is probably a bit of a gimmick but sounds like a good idea.

Managed to revive the Zanussi again, but I think its fate has been sealed! Just need to figure out whether we’ve got enough room to fit the stacked machines in our current space. Think the jigsaw might be seeing some action!

Has anyone used a stacking device such as this:

It looks like a neat solution but I’m concerned that it’ll add a lot of height to the machines and mean it won’t fit in the space.

A gimmick I think, machine is in wash phase, maybe 40% of programme , maybe you'd contemplate adding things at 50% of that so a 20minutes window you might use window.

can't see what the guaranteee period is on samsung, but if its 2 years, I'd pay £100 more for the the 9kg/1400 siemens with 5 years - what I have now, especially with family use.

Moreover for next machine plan to look at a gorenge in the flesh

since that company bought up asko brand, I had, and trusted, before siemens.

I'm sceptical on stacking, if you have any kind on unbalanced load - I'd sooner build a structure to support upper machine independantly - dexion shelving say.

At work there are 6 washers and driers stacked using a stacking kit (miele machines, miele stacking kit). Mother and father in law also had their miele machines stacked in their utility room. It is quite nice to have the tumble dryer on top, perfect height for pulling out clothes.

what make ? with the Swedish Asko I had prior to Siemens, like Miele I imagine, the anti vibration electronic(mechanics) are better.

Bosch one.. 9Kg load one IIRC just works and still looks like new. Quiet, very little vibrations and seems low consumption of water too.

Since the TV and the phone, etc.. Samsung is out of the running for any appliance.

My parents bought a Servis Quartz 600 in 1983, didn't get replaced till 2009 having had 2 repairs during its 26-year life time. Made in England, what more can you say.

After that, had a Beko WM5100 5kg since, used about 2-3 times a week, still doing okay, no repairs in 11-years. Made in Turkey.

Ordered a Beko WTL104121W 10Kg for my sister yesterday, originally ordered Bosch Serie 4 WAN28081GB 7Kg, but the BEKO had very similar features, but with a larger drum and ended up saving £90.

Not sure what my next washer will be, might go Beko again, or try an Ebac.
