To cut a long story short, a 1TB external hard drive got converted into a 32GB ESB-USB via Windows Media Creation tool so just showing up as a 32GB drive in Windows Explorer with no access to any of the old files.
Naturally rather inconvenient as a lot of photos, documents, video files, etc on there. I've used things like Recuva in the past to recover photos from old broken drives but this seems like a rather big job as it was almost at capacity and if possible, would be nice to recover as much file and folder structure.
What would be the best software for the job?
