I had posted earlier to confirm B-die for my kit.

My report shows exactly the same as yours, including manufacturing date - I also got the red kit.

Running perfectly so far, getting taxed most in MSFS2020.

Im thinking about upgrading my ram today i have https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cors...3600mhz-dual-channel-kit-black-my-4a5-cs.html and play a lot of sim games like fs2020 and xplane 11. Will i notice a difference at 4K too on a 2080ti on other games?.

Stay on topic please :D

While 3600 CL18 isnt up to current standards, you could try to overclock or tighten the timings at higher voltage first before considering new ram. The difference doesn't translate to much, but at the prices the 2x16 3600 Ballistix kits, or 2x8 4000+ Patriot Viper kits are currently at, you might be able to see upwards of a 5% improvement to gaming performance. If the price difference between buying the new ram and selling your old is <£50, I'd go for it. But say £350+ vs a <£150 kit for an extra 5% performance isnt worth it.

On another note, I still can't find any Crucial Ballistix Max 2x16 Gb 4400 modules anywhere, and OOS prices are up to over £450. Its more of a curiosity I have that you see all these faster DDR4 kits announced and listed, but theres never a single kit in stock anywhere. They are more scarce than the new Ampere cards were on launch.

Well, i was not sure, as i used Team Group 4500MHz 16GB 8Pack kit until now on 4400C16... Due the price of a 32GB DR B-Die, i decided to stay on 16GB, it looked enough. But after my did friend appeared, and forced me to buy a Crucial Ballistix 3600MHz kit, 32GB, but it remained SR, not DR. It has the same IC's, what is on the Ballistix Max(which available from today), and which can reach 5GHz easily. It was cheap though, only £179... And i have to say, this kit beat the Team Group kit already. I cannot go further than 4.4GHz in mem frequency, due the weak IMC of my 9900K, but until that freq, appears, it brings the same performance. Look at this... The subs are still not done yet, i am working on it.

In Winrar bench, it can do ~34300 points... I am sure, whit the same timings, it would be stable on 4500MHz, scary.
Only negative side of these moduls, the heat sink itself, it is very light, useless. In OC, it can be a shortage, as around 54C, your stable setup becomes unstable. The modules also has a internal temperature sense, so you are able to monitor them. I am about to solve the heat sink issue, just purchased a Dominator GT memories for bargain price, and i will just swop the heat sink. I also received the Corsair active memory cooling kit, so those two will help. I have water cooling, but honestly, i did not want to connect the memories into the CPU line. It just a pain....

What i wanted to say, a good 32GB kit is cheap enough now, so worth the upgrade.

Which Crucial Ballistix kit? BL2K16G36C16U4B?

Gamer's Nexus Published a new video on this subject. He sums it up at the end. 4 x 8GB better than 2 x 8GB, 2 x 16GB (single rank) best. What he didn't actually explicitly state was why 2 x 16GB is best and this is answered in another video I will link at the bottom.

Anyone see a user error here?

Why you should get 32GB DDR4 RAM instead of 16GB in 2020:

Are you using the latest version of thaipoon burner? Crucial has released new sticks, and they use micron chips, I have never heard of a Crucial kit using samsung chips, so that's why I question the Thaipoon assement. I have heard that it confuses samsung cDie with samsung bDie so its not infallible.

Is there any pattern that we can see between black, red or white Crucial memory with regard to B or E-die, and single vs double rank?
