I’m looking at the following pre built system It ticks all the boxes for me apart from knowing a new CPU release from AMD is coming. My understanding is that the motherboard would still accept future AMD 4000 cpus ?
You may ask why not wait? I’m concerned at availability and price increases as this is already slightly over budget at around £2600. I’ve built pc in the past but this one as said is prebuilt and therefore less hassle as life is a little hectic at present!

I would definitely wait for the 5000 and if you need to cut costs then the aio the motherboard and the NVME as these wont make no difference for gaming, maybe go with some faster samsung B-die ram too.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £490.43 (includes shipping: £10.50)

I'd wait till you have a 3080 in hand or being shipped before you get the CPU and even then an 8 core zen 3 should handily beat a 12 core zen 2.
