Not surprised in the slightest - these "Management processors" were ripe for the picking regardless of who makes them just because of what they do.

The fact that most are completely proprietary means that they never receive the kind of scrutiny needed to prevent a lot of the flaws that eventually end up being found in them (e.g. versus an open source equivalent).

TBF, at least none of them have been as bad as Intel's
