TUF OC ASUS OC Scanner Results:

No idea if this tool/software is any good (I doubt it) but it appears to be allowing the GPU to boost to 1920. Played a game (showing over 300fps at times) and according to the graph it his a max of 1875. Edit so it does hit 1920 at a voltage of 1100 and a memory clock of 19502.

I was lucky. The 3080 someone near me was selling for just over RRP after their brother hadn’t wanted it. The 3090 I got lucky with a retailer

I was playing shadow of the tomb raider last night, stock fan settings are quiet and temps didnt seem to go above the 70 mark, but I was only getting 50-55 fps, when i turned on my custom curve, the fps jumped up to 70+, but was significantly louder. Again though the temps sat around that 70 mark

Has anyone tried cross flashing a bios yet? I'm just wondering as the Gaming X Trio bounces all around the clocks from 1810mhz to 2160mhz like a madman because there's no use for that third 8 pin due to the bios it has.

I'm thinking whack the Strix OC bios on there but I want at least a few posts from worldwide users on other forums that have been successful in doing this safely. I'm very close to top 100 worldwide for single card Port Royal but am power limited and can't quite squish the last hundred points out of the card and the geezer with a 4790k and a decent bios is in like 8th place lol.

Flashing the Strix OC's 480w BIOS is getting rave reviews, it's the best BIOS right now that you can use to flash.

With the strix oc BIOS and great cooling you can get the card to lock itself to 2100-2200mhz, no bouncing around

Nice I'll get searching for this as the Gaming X Trio performs higher than the Strix OC out of the box according to Guru 3d charts and overclocks good on stock. Mine has never gone over 59c either, weirdly theirs went upto 70+.

Been playing the first Tomb Raider remake in 4k SSAA2x at 60-150fps depending on scene it's insane! Mine has the 2 MLCC caps inbetween the 4 Poscaps.

Any idea what this bios will work on? I noticed that the coreclock will lock itself to its highest setting via the overclock if you enable vsync. Tried this in a few games including mafia 2 definitive edition and it will lock to around 2175mhz (best i can do so far on my card). If i turn vsync off it will bounce all over the place.

Nice, must be gsync making it go up and down. Be mental to be able to lock full time to 2130 or so. 2175 seems to be my point of max overclock too but my memory has benchmark gains for me all the way to 21k then error correction kicks in.

How much power is your card drawing now out of the 480W max?
