Still yet to receive the 3.11.26 latest firmware, LG must be doing it slowly.

Still 2 new firmwares in a week, the best support going ever.

Or the AMD 6000 series. Basically the requirement is for HDMI 2.1 to use 120hz, no GPUs have that except for the new gen of cards currently being rolled out :)

Something that really bugged me about AMD is their energy/wattage usage with dual screen it's much higher than Nvidia cards, I don't know if it effects all AMD cards but perhaps worth checking out its wattage with Dual screen display. It's one of the main reasons why I did not upgrade to the RX5500XT series cards, and went with Nvidia where the wattage does not go up too much with dual display.

If AMD 6000 series fix the high energy usage and with their mid-range cards, id be half tempted to go back with AMD in 2021.

Hi guy just got my bx tv today, i was wondering how do you get 4k 120hz? i got a 1080 ti and a 18gb hdmi cable, do i need a different hdmi cable for it? it only shows 4k 60hz right now, thanks

you mean the CX not bx!, go into Nvidia control panel click on change resolutions then to the PC 3840x2160 and apply it, the HZ will change. But you will not get the full 120hz in all games your 1080 Ti can't go over 18gb HDMI, no matter if you change the cable.

You need a 3000 series with hdmi 2.1 support to get above 60hz.

You don't need a 3080 card, the 1080 TI can go to 120hz on this monitor with 4K HDR the only difference is you will not get the 48gbs on HDMI only a 2.1 will

i did the nvidia control panel thing but it only goes up to 1440 in pc resolution! on tv resolution it does 2160p but only 60 hz

Most of us on here have the LG OLED CX48/55, Alpha 9 Gen 3 processor so you have the BX entry-level OLED Alpha 7 Gen 3 processor model now I understand why you can't change it;)
