Can OCUJ update the Bios for me?

Hi,
Noob question;

I'm ready to buy an MSI Tomahawk, and a 5900x when available. However, I have no current AMD CPU to let me enable the board to update the BIOS for Zen 3 (my current PC is an old 4670 Haswell).

Do OCUK offer a service to update the BIOS, then rebox and ship the mobo with the CPU as a pair? Or am I being foolish, and there's some way to flash an MSI bios without relying on a CPU present?

You could wait and get a board that has the updated BIOS from the factory? Some AM4 Boards allow BIOS updating without a CPU as long as you have power.

Firstly, I wrote OCUJ in the title instead of OCUK. Sorry.

I think I found the answer, that the update can be applied from a flash drive directly into the BIOS without need for a compatible CPU at that point, using 'Mflash' on MSI board's.

If it’s the b450 version that bios won’t be available until January as per AMD post.
